Cornwall hotels are not all the same

David and Chris Grant and Tresanton the St Mawes cat have been in the business for many years, and have previously owned and run Chadlington Manor in Oxfordshire. This was a country house that won many accolades in the guide books. Our philosophy is to offer our guests what we like when we stay away from home. We aim to give you an informal base from which to explore the area, and winkle out it's pleasures in winter and in summer. We are open all year round, so there is always an excuse to come. In 1999 our wine list was a finalist in the AA restaurant Wine Cellar of the year for the whole of Britain, meant that the AA regarded it as one of the top 20 wine cellars in the UK. Wine has been a passion and a hobby of mine for a good many years, I collect wines like some people collect stamps. We have an AA rosette for our food which reassures you that our restaurant is of a high standard
