Our wine list was judged to be in the best 20 in the whole
UK by the AA in October 1999.
Prior to that we won the Egon Ronay award in 1995 for the best wine cellar in Britain, and brought it all with us when we moved Personally I do not believe that the "best" wine cellar in Britain actually exists, but there certainly are a dozen or so hotels and restaurants with cellars to die for.
